Natural Resources Council of Maine

Sierra Club Maine

Maine Audubon
Maine Audubon is always looking for volunteers to help with their loon count and other projects, including caring for the native plants at Gilsland Farm, assisting with educational programs, or staffing their visitor centers. Apply for a regular shift or check their calendars for volunteer days.
350 Maine
350 Maine is a grassroots movement dedicated to fighting for climate justice, which has helped foster other advocacy groups including the statewide coalition Maine Climate Action Now and Maine Youth for Climate Justice, a group for youth and adults under 30.
