Maine agricultural fairs: 2024 dates

Every weekend in the summer, there is at least one agricultural fair happening in Maine. Fairs bring communities together every year to celebrate local farming with animals, live music, good food, rides, derbies, demonstrations and everything in between.
There are over 25 licensed agricultural fairs in Maine, making for a full calendar from mid-June through the end of September. Favorites include the Skowhegan State Fair, the nation’s oldest continuously run fair and the Common Ground Country Fair, which highlights organic agriculture. Find one near you or set out to explore a region new to you.
