The Town of Windham and Presumpscot Regional Land Trust conserved the land in September. There is significant construction on the land, so the area will be closed to the public until the Grand Opening Event. This Grand Opening will be phase one. At this opening, there will be a new parking area and miles of new trail built. The phase two opening will be a year from now and will include additional trails plus the 1-mile accessible trail. A phase three opening to include an observation tower is planned for a future year.
