The Unstoppable Ocean: A discussion on climate impacts in the Gulf of Maine

  • 350 Commercial Street Portland, ME, 04101 United States (map)

Along Maine’s stunning coastline, vulnerable communities wrestle with the inevitable rise of the sea caused by the warming ocean. Communities are already being forced to make costly upgrades to vulnerable infrastructure and, in some cases, rethink ways and patterns of life they have had for generations.

The Maine Monitor, the Gulf of Maine Research Institute, and the Buck Lab at Colby College, invite you to be a part of the ongoing conversation and join them for a panel discussion on November 16 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at GMRI.
